HANCOCK HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Oktoberfest Findlay supports the Hancock Historical Museum in Findlay, Ohio. It has became the museum's largest fundraiser. The Hancock Historical Museum is a privately-funded, nonprofit history museum founded in 1970 by five Findlay residents who wanted to ensure the rich heritage of Hancock County wouldn’t be forgotten with the passage of time. Their vision is alive today in vibrant educational programs, dynamic exhibits and successful preservation efforts that honor Hancock County’s past while inspiring its future.

Thousands of children and adults tour the museum’s buildings and sites every year to learn more about the community they share and its contributions to the region.
